Handmade Teacher Thank You Cards

Handmade Teacher Thank You Cards

Miss “M” wanted to make teacher thank you cards. Since she is in the dual immersion program… she needed to make two. Miss “M” loved the rainbow paper and knew she wanted to do a pencil and a crayon card. She also picked the Queen and Company foundation dies off of my magnet boards, picked out her papers, die cut all of the pieces (with grandpa’s supervision) and she was off and running. She’s been making cards since she was 4. I love that at 8 years old… she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to “color outside the lines”! Too often I find myself afraid to mix and match patterns and papers from my stash – my inner OCD voice screams “it won’t work – don’t do it”! I’m so grateful she’s here to remind me not just in card making but in life – it looks beautiful doesn’t it nana – yes it does sweet girl!
